Early inn May we discovered that on my wife's 2000 Ford Taurus had the front under carridge had rusted out so badly as to be dangerous to drive. We were shocked since other than that the car , with only 87,000 miles, was in very good condition. We searched the web and many, many Eastern Iowa dealerships, including some local ones that we had dealt with previously, but none had any vehicles available for less than about $15,000. Then, by chance, we came across the David Farmer web site and found, to our surprise, that he had many (more than a dozen) older model cars with relatively low mileage priced at less than $10,000.' On last Tuesday we drove up to Center Point and looked at several. Darren told us that he specializes in finding older cars with fairly low mileage (some less than 100,000 miles) in good condition. He was very helpful and knowledgable about each vehicle that we inquired about, with no "high pressure" tactics. We did not decide on a choice that day, but two days later we looked at their web site, which is very good and allows a search by make, model, cost or mileage, and narrowed down our search to two or three vehicles. On Thursday we drove back the 38 miles to Center Point and purchased a 2006 Honda Accord for about $7.000. Driving it back to Mount Vernon I remarked to my wife that "it was like driving a brand new car". The engine was quiet, it rode and handled well and we felt very pleased and lucky to have found his sales lot. So if you are looking for an older model, low mileage car in very good condition I would highly recommend you visit their web site, or better yet, their lot in Center Point. You won't find a better selection of such vehicles any where in Eastern Iowa. Without qualification I recommend this dealer as top-notch A plus. You will find it to be a real pleasure to deal with them, just as we did.
